Merson Grant joined
the practice as an Architectural Technologist in 1963 and
became a partner in the firm some years later. He is a Member
of the British Institute of Architectural Technologists. Over
these many years he has had experience in a wide range of
projects from house extensions to steading conversions to
new housing developments as well as hotel, shop and village
hall refurbishment's in the commercial sector. He has had
a long association with various distilleries including redevelopment
of distillery still houses and associated plant, new warehouses,
dark grain plants, visitors centres and offices.
Distance is no
object as the practice is currently handling projects from
as far as Strathdon to Tain

What is an Architectural
Technologist?
An Architectural Technologist applies the science of architecture
and specialises in the technological aspects of building design
and construction. Fully qualified Architectural Technologists
are specialists in building design and construction and can
undertake a building project from conception through to final
certification.
